Following a major renovation, the Marriott Miami Dadeland partnered with Accommovision to produce a full video tour of their unique property. Updated areas include an open-concept lobby, 35,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, and a large cluster of rooms dubbed the Design Guest Rooms.

STRATEGY

Situated in the center of South Miami’s vibrant Dadeland neighborhood, the Marriott Miami Dadeland is an upscale hotel with easy access to local shopping and dining. For this flagship brand video, the hotel marketing team wanted to emphasize the property’s convenient location in addition to its abundant onsite amenities. To achieve this, we crafted a simple story that follows a young business professional as she enjoys a brief stay at the hotel. In addition, the marketing team chose to purchase a partial Video Archive for use in future promotions and social media posts.

VIDEO PRODUCTION

As part of pre-production, our team coordinated with Nanndi Frozen Cream Shop in Downtown Dadeland and the famous Dadeland Mall for location access and support. We also brought in the ever-elegant and dependable Eliana Lancellotti (IG: @eli_raffaella) as our on-camera talent. Storyboarding was of the utmost importance if we were going to fit all of the hotel amenities and local attractions into a 2-minute runtime.

HOTEL OVERVIEW

This video follows our guest as she checks into her modern guest room and then steps out to enjoy some gourmet ice cream and high-end shopping at nearby Dadeland Mall. Returning to the hotel, she exercises in the state-of-the-art fitness center before lounging by the rooftop pool. Finally, she wakes up to a sumptuous breakfast at Whitney’s before attending a business meeting in the grand ballroom and happy hour at Le Mirage.

VIDEO ARCHIVE

Marriott’s video marketing guidelines require full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act (CVAA). This involves the transcription and encoding of VTT files for audio descriptions and closed captioning, which we were more than happy to provide.

DISTRIBUTION

Following Marriott’s approval of the brand video, the Hotel Overview now features in the main gallery of the hotel website. Additionally, the video was posted to the hotel’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Uploading the video to multiple online platforms ensures that it will be seen by as many travelers as possible.
